E/W has a broad network of resources and contacts ranging from buy side investors to cutting-edge technology entrepreneurs, from municipal bond houses to state development agencies, from High Net Worth investors to large pools of capital. We bring many decades of combined investment banking, corporate management and C-suite experience to addressing our clients’ financing needs. E/W is not a broker-dealer and, accordingly, does not involve itself in the negotiation or pricing of securities directly with prospective investors.

Simon Strauss - Partner

Simon has worked in London and New York for firms such as Ernst & Young (EY) and Jefferies, with spells as CFO for the North American arm of a London Stock Exchange-quoted public financial relations company and running his own financial advisory boutique. He founded a company focused on calendar coordination across multiple software platforms. Simon is a CPA, a Chartered Accountant and has a B. Comm from the University of Edinburgh.

Steve Liggins - Partner

Serving as Managing Director and Head of the New York Office of Bank One (now JPMorgan) until 2002, along with previously working in the City of London and Africa, Steve has extensive experience in international business and finance. In 2003, he co-founded KenCall EPZ Limited, Kenya’s first international outsourcing company servicing US and UK clients. Steve earned his MBA from London Business School and his BA from York University, England.
